Oh Paul, can’t believe this has happened to your sparrows again, beyond upset for you and your sparrows. 
Glad to hear the wren is still laying and that you will have a distraction with that lovely nest.
Keeping everything crossed that the sparrows, next to you Benn, manage to fledge before the roofers get going.
Always worries me at this time of year when you see people hedge cutting as well as structural works. Guess we birders are far more sensitive to these issues as we think of nesting birds at this time, whereas a lot of people just don’t think of or consider them at all.
