I had a conversation with the neighbours this morning who are happy to try but I could only save one nest. However, the better news is that it is only the scaffolding going up on Monday. The roofers might not start for up to another 10 days due to a backlog of work and availability of enough of the right tiles. I think the chicks would be about 9 or 10 days old as they have been taking in food for about that long. So another 6 days at most they should have fledged and with the scaffolding in place I can stuff up the gaps with rags.
