Not seen the Blackbirds entering the back of Ivy recently but as my previous posts it was difficult to see unless they landed on my fence before hopping behind it, into the field and going in from there. Just late this morning I found this whilst mowing the lawn. It is a Blackbird egg that looks like it had been incubated for a few days as the yolk contained blood. So that is another Blackbird nest predated by the bloody Magpies. I'll have to be on guard when and if the Robins leave their nest!
