Yes, it appears that way...she stopped at 3 eggs as is into day 4 of incubation I think? She is diligently sitting on them full time since Saturday. She goes for long naps during the day with her head under her wing. I suppose what else can she do!
Now...an interesting development in my garden. I've just discovered we have a badger visiting. There is evidence of lots of droppings near the edge of the hedge and a path has been created into the hedge.
I would love to get a look at this guy. I've one spare Sony Effio camera meant for a bird box, but I might try and make a housing of some sort to see if I can catch any badger activity.
I must also look up how to attract him in....
