Hi all...nothing new to report. Herself is still sitting on three eggs....
Found this on my lawn this morning. Quite a large egg..about 3cm x 2.5cm.
I've looked it up and think its a Jackdaw egg shell? I assume it was snatched from a nearby nest... We've a Magpie on the prowl these last few days.
We have a Ring collared dove nest and a Wood pigeon nest up in our high trees at the back of the garden...hope they don't get attacked too.
Edited to say: It might be a Mistle Thrush egg actually??? Photos on the internet vary greatly!
