My box is facing east, and is at the side of my house. It is quite close to Nextdoor house so it’s quite dark, it’s always the first to change to infrared.
Later, I will screen grab my settings from the camera, I have to do it on my pc. I know I messed around with them to get a better picture. The settings are not default....so that could be your answer

Here are the setting of my camera. You can find then on setting/system/cameraparam.
