Everyone, At last I can create a thread for my birds, explanation & photo below. On the 19 February this year, I had to completely cut down all the bushes on our back fence, as severe high winds blew the whole lot away from the fence onto the lawn. They were secured with wires as they grew, but the winds managed to break them too. I was upset about it but I made plans to dig out all the stumps & roots etc. in warmer weather (but this never happened because I was totally out of action since 1st March.)
Now managing to get down the steps to the patio, so that I can see all the birds - the good news is that great tits are using my one & only box again (12th year now), flying to and fro all day, two families of sparrows are nesting in the ivy, plus one blackbird family & pigeons have made a nest in the 2 foot high ivy top of the Big Shed. A robin family is nesting in a Red Robin bush which is very appropriate.
