Gosh - May 13th....will it really be that long!??? Seems like ages away.
Glad to hear your cat is not interested in the birds....she's probably so well looked after and might not have the made the connection between birds and actual real food yet?
Thats what I think must have happened with our Spooky - while left abandoned, she had picked up real survival habits out of necessity and hunted birds for food as she was starving. Hard habit to break I imagine....our garden must have been like a buffet for her.
Thankfully, the birds are slowly coming back into the garden now. Cautiously....but there is a noticeable rise in their visits since Spooky has gone.
