Our female wren has choose the open front box under the decking area of the pond and laid her first egg 
Beyond excited this is a FIRST for me, I always get the male building nests but never had a female accept it line it and lay!
Here's some pictures of the box and the egg!
And you know me already got a camera set up outside it so I can see the comings and goings over the next few weeks!
Extremely successful year in the garden this year, We have a blackbird, collard dove, wood pigeon nest in the ivy and trees around garden
and 2 blue tits, wren and sparrows in the boxes.
Gives me plenty to watch during lockdown!
