im so sorry I have only just seen your first post, I feel awful about it! Cos we all are supposed to be supporting one another, I feel like I let you down by not commenting   You certainly have been through hell by the sounds of things.

 I totally know where your coming from with the nerve pain, I too was given amitriptyline, but unfortunately had to stop taking them because I couldn’t function properly at work, (gave me brain fog). 

I really do hope that the painkillers do you some good Diane, and I’m so happy you managed to hear the birds again, it is surprising what a boost nature can have on our well being isn’t it?!
