Glad the hubby sorted the lightening for you Elle, Maybe the light is going to take a little getting used to for them. Might be a shock cause they aren't used to it, You could always put the gap over the sensor so the light stays off then undo the gap during nest building / egg laying. Then again they need to get used to it anyway so better off just leaving it, Doesn't seem to bother my blue tits or sparrows but every bird is different I guess.
