Well thought I would jump on board with the goings on with my nest boxes plus I have to give the picture posting a go! quick brief : Had 2 roosters, then 1 cleared off. Now, looked tonight and the last male has also gone :-[ .Both leaving very dirty boxes! Although one of the boxes have now got a few small long leaves in it, don’t know what that’s about 🤷♀️, but something is moving them around. when we put the angled box back before Christmas we made a small alteration, by putting the camera at a different angle to hopefully get a bit better view of some eggs (potential) eggs! See how this goes, but don’t think I will be posting many pics, too much tech for me Elle xx

Hi Elle, strange about the leaves, hope you get a good female to clean your boxes. I am with you on the photo front - not brave enough to try yet. I couldn’t even do my avatar without help and my thread doesn’t even have my name as creator Not got a clue what i’m doing . Hope I get my head around it if I am lucky enough to have a nest after all your wishful thinking for me. Sue

Sue, Your thread doesn't have you as a creator because you started the thread as a "guest" haha I then had to delete the first post and edit it into your second post. Because you made it as a guest rather than your own profile that is why this as happened. Lets hope you learn how to upload pictures Sue, We can't be missing out on your beauty's over the spring.

Oh Sue I’m so illiterate when it comes to tech things and internet stuff, believe it or not I had attempted 2pics when I posted my original post but as you can see!!!! A big fat Nothing . If I don’t have my daughters here to help me with all that stuff, I’m absolutely stuffed. I’m just lucky I can switch on my iPad on my own 😂😂 oh well, at least i won’t be bombarding you all with all the pics I used to post 👍

Not being able to put piccies on here doesn't apply to me as we have no cameras - but dear Elle & Sue - you can't not put your piccies on, as they are so beautiful! If necessary, you will have to ask our dear Paul to help as he has suggested to you. Apologies to you Paul for possibly causing you even more work.

To save you more work Paul, although I am more than greatful, I will keep trying to do photos and hopefully I will conquer Just thought I’d share a little giggle what my hubby and I witnessed this morning! A squirrel stole one of the fat balls out of the holder, by literally manoeuvring it up & out of the top then proceeded to frantically run round my garden, in & out of all my flower pots, up and down the fence to find somewhere to stash it. Eventually after a good 10 minutes it finally decided to uproot my snowdrops and crocuses to bury it. I would have been a bit angry if it wasn’t so funny to watch . I also contemplated getting a picture but I thought... what’s the point . Elle xx

I know Paul, I’m so pleased with my little self question though Paul..... is there a quicker link to press on to, maybe across the top here, to post the pics?, or do yer always have to go off the forum to key in the postimages.org? I know this may seem and sound like Im stupid, but i did warn yer?? Elle xx ps XP’s thank you for all your support and help Paul

No sadly Elle, This forum is just a basic free forum so not alot of space / memory to update pictures direct. By using postimages.org it allows you to add your picture without using any memory or space on the forum. Now you've got the hang of it will be easier for you heart

Oh Elle - you did it! It took me a long time to work it out, but I'm over the moon that you managed it, as I love your photos. I'm glad you managed to have a laugh at the naughty squirrel, but I would be upset if the ones round here dug up my snowdrops.

Yes Diane I was over the moon I actually got the picture on all by myself without my daughters help . Paul - I know exactly what your saying, just a thought maybe for people like me who could just press on an icon at top of the page where we write replys and then get transported directly to the ‘images’ site ! Never mind, it’s all good now I know what to do (I think)! Anyway, today I have been at home most of the day and noticed this morning a bluetit flying directly towards my house, I quickly turned on tv and there it was in my angled box, also peeping through the hole was another one they then switched over, so I’ve obviously got a pair but as you can see from previous picture the box is an absolute disgrace. The female then started to take a piece of poo out, she actually took one piece every hour for the next five hours then that was it for the day. If she carrys on at that rate she won’t be ready for spring next year let alone this year . I will see how tomorrow goes Elle xx

Wonderful news Elle! ... you were lucky to be at home today to see it & it looks very promising. Re the postimages thingy, I felt guilty asking you to try again after your first attempt, so to salve my conscience that's the only reason I decided to try.
The good news is that neither of us will have to ask our daughters to do it for us. However, when mine comes next Sunday, she's going to connect a Netflix Smart stick to our non-smart TV as I daren't try that. The only reason I want Netflix is because on the 5 April, they are streaming a David Attenborough narrated documentary, called Our Planet.
