Same as you Ann, only visits I am getting are to my ‘lucky’ box - lucky because it usually attracts the birds but no camera in it. Keep telling myself early yet so everything crossed for us. Sue

Glad that you've now got the hang of the picture uploading Ann, How old is your log box? Is this the box that gets used each year? Maybe your blue tits like the more natural feel / look with this box!
Hopefully they pick your camera box though, Time will tell.

good morning its horrible wet morning and still raining, but my two are still visiting their box. im just looking at the trees behind my garden it seems it won't be long before the cherry blossom will burst open if we have a sunny week ahead. usually nesting starts here for me once that happens. i notice the hedgerows are starting to look green as well and the willow trees are fully out

VERY windy here Ann, I wouldn’t be able to stand upright let alone poor little blue tits flying. Your camera box looks fantastic so would really hope they use it. Maybe they don’t like the tune on the wind chimes below them lol - kind of serious, know the wind rain etc are natural to them and other noises going on all the time but wonder if wind chimes going all night might disturb them. Just a thought. I love wind chimes but maybe they are a bit close for them . So glad you got the hang of pics as it’s great to see everyone’s posts and the pictures help us to understand exactly what’s going on - a picture (as they say) paints a thousand words. Good luck. Sue

Hi Sue thanks, the wind chimes were moved there yesterday as the wind was so high, they are leaning against a post so not much chiming going on. i have moved them back as we only have a breeze today. what part of the country are you? OH ive just answered that question i noticed you are in Dorset i have another log box near the house and a long way from my other boxes. i had a male go in for sometime, no other bluetit came along, this box has had visits before but not so often was this male my resident one or another i will keep watching to see maybe the wren will use my camera box lets see

I'm sure all is quiet this week, while the weather has been so awful ,ive not been here to observe anything, i may get chance tomorrow. i expect everyone is in a similar position. friday well the pr have been busy in and out of the log box this morning im expecting nesting to begin soon, the trees are now very green with new growth don't think it will be long before nesting material starts being taken in now
