Well, It appears "Tatty" isn't as rough as I first thought. I mean her head is still pretty tatty but her face isn't totally messed up! Maybe the day of the video she was just wet so it made it look worse? Here's some pictures, Not the best sorry sun shining on tv monitor always makes it look washed out when this happens. She's bringing herself in alot this morning without the male, Alot of hole tapping etc. No new material just a piece of moss and 3 tiny pieces of straw.

Looks like mites to me Kathy, Her full face is pretty tatty looking, However on the last video her face down one side look totally destroyed. However today its just got few little bald patches doesn't look anywhere near as bad, So I am guessing maybe her face was wet and made it look worse. She is still pretty tatty looking so the name will remain if she does indeed nest, So far looking so good but you never know do you.

Well it’s heating up in my garden today, one blue tit is totally cleaning out the poo in my handykam box that currently as a rooster. She’s done amazing job cleaning it, Secondly my side box over in front garden on house wall as had its first nest material brought in. Purple box in back garden as had few pieces straw added. I don’t want get my hopes up but at moment it looks like 3 blue tit females which between my purple box, side box, and cleaning of the handykam box. Will history repeat itself from 2016 when it was 3 females 1 male? I don’t know but am bloody excited to find out Picture below is the first straw in my side box and picture of sparrow nest as they are building again today after 2weeks of no new material

Thank you Matt and Karen, I will probably hold off with my updates now until "proper" nest building starts in each box. At moment, I have material in side box and purple box and I wouldn't be surprised if the Handykam box as material in tomorrow after the cleaning out its had today. Everything at moment is pointing to 3 females / 1 male again, But I can say 100% yet. I'll see what the next few days bring me and see what bird is building where and get some videos etc. Good luck to you both lets hope your first material comes soon

That's good news Paul - looks like things are getting serious in one box. Any more info regarding the 'multi-activities' of your male BT?
Hope the weather keeps reasonable over the next week or so and they all get move on with the nest building.

Beechnut, Was a fight outside my side box this morning, So I am guessing it was 2 females 2 males and my current male isn't letting them into the area. I don't know I'll keep watch over the coming days, But after seeing the fight this morning it would make sense.
Managed to edited all the clips together and got it up on youtube now, I will be going out in 20 minutes and not due back until late evening so just got it out the way now. If you watch hope you enjoy, Here's the video anyway Tatty and Romeo they're called.

Some small clips from this morning, No new material added, Plenty visits by male and female. She is taken straw out then bringing it back in Here's a little video below, I noticed something today though I don't know if anyone else as noticed this with their birds especially you Matt with having leds. The male blue tits blue colour is brighter than the females especially in the tail and wing area. I wonder if its like this for every male / female? Where his colours are that bit brighter, Never noticed it before but this is my first year with led lights to be able to judge it.

Lovely videos Paul, beautifully clear. Never had the chance to compare male/female colourings but can see it in your video. My female still building, but not seeing the male near the box?! However he does wait for her in the tree from time to time. Sue

Totally forgot to post the footage from my side view box I got the other day when the first straw was added, Since this video they was a big fight between the male in the front and male in the back. Side box is still getting the odd visit daily (mainly to the outside) I just hope the male from the back lets them nest or I will only get 1 blue tit nest this year and of course my sparrows. We will see what happens over the coming weeks.
Here's the video anyway its only little small clip
