Noticed for the last week that a pair of robins are really checking out the ivy over my pond, Just making a little thread incase it leads to anything. Fingers crossed it does last time I had robins nesting in the ivy was 2014 I believe.

That sounds positive Paul. I had two squabbling in the garden today on the feeders. Seems like there is a lot of aggro this season here! Good luck with that one keep us posted.

Good luck with the Robins Paul. I decided rather than throw out an odd shorty boot my youngest son left behind during one of his boomerang years I would tuck it away in a quiet corner of the garden and see if one of our robins would like to use it as a nest site. I know they are said to use odd things....anyway it beats throwing it away
