Just to let you know as at 14.42 I can't log out as there's a problem, so I'm told by a white page - so I'm not really here, 'cos I have to go offline for a bit.

My account is logging in and out fine Diane? You still having the problem? It may be your browser or wifi connection rather than the site itself. As I said am logging in and out fine at moment.

I don't think it was my browser or wifi Paul, as the white page which came up was from ProBoards & the message was from them. It said something like " sorry, but we can't do that at the moment as we have a bit of a problem, hopefully it will be fixed soon" or words to that effect! Anyway, I did manage to log out OK yesterday straight after I said that I was going to try again - logged out just after 16.14.

Maybe it was just a site glitch in that case Diane. Seems to have solved itself if that is the case!

I'm sorry to bother you Matt & Paul as I know how busy you both are, but I wanted to ask a question. I don't have cameras in boxes at all, just an ordinary one & I only managed to get a few photos of fledglings years ago. In the Nature Topics section, I put a thread on re our pond a few weeks back, but would it be OK for me to put a new thread on there called Yorksher Lass's Garden?
The reason I ask, is because Beechnut (I think!) put a piccie in his thread showing his beautiful small garden (which I envy) and people are chatting about oak trees. I took some piccies yesterday, just showing the layout and size of our garden, too big for us now as it's about 80 feet long - but it shows where next door's oak tree is (another further back which you can't see) and a couple of huge Alder trees. Plus our BIg Shed I have mentioned, which was used as a garage until the owner built one on the side of the house in 1997 - this is covered in ivy.
Plus, the bare fence where I dug out the ivy (still not painted with Forest Green) and then our one & only bird box, then my seat, to show where I sit. Anyway, please let me know - I'm going out gardening again now - a woman's work is never done!

Diane, with this being stuff that’s happening in your garden you could also post it in the “garden visitors” bit it’s 2 places under the bird boxes part so nice and easy for people to find. Just nature topics is far down so makes more sense to stick it in the garden visitors part as top half forum is probably most viewed. But totally up to you, never feel the need to ask to open your own thread though, if you want to do it just do it, me and Matt would never have an issue with this at all!

Many thanks Matt & Paul - I'll use your suggestion Paul & put my thread in the Garden Visitors section as you said, with a little write up of what's where & what's what. Going out for lunch tomorrow and taking a day off gardening - I only stopped for lunch today then back out again & just got in, so Gerry is cooking dinner & then I'm going to watch "the TV box". Will make the thread either tomorrow afternoon or Friday.
