I have three boxes with cameras in them this year. The main box has a 25mm entrance with a two 700TVL cameras, one horizontal and one overhead.
There's a further box down the garden by our pergola with a 25mm entrance with one overhead 700TVL camera, and another box with a 45mm entrance also with an overhead 700TVL camera. All the cameras had a white LED which is attached to a sensor which turns the LED in darkness and the IR on the cameras take over.
There are also several of last year's Blackbird's and Robin's nests in various shrubs around our garden to which I have positioned cameras but will depend on which boxes are occupied as I only have four video connections.
This is the main box horizontal view.

Hi everyone,
Getting a little concerned that all three boxes have had no real interest so far this season.
Is it just me, or is anybody else suffering a lack of birds?
All the boxes are in the usual place, cleaned and have been inspected a few times, but time is getting pretty close and I'm concerned we'll see no action here in Kent this season.
Let me know please.
thanks Joe

Hi Joe, I think things generally have been slow this season for a lot of folk. I have one bluetit nest that has been being built for ages but still no eggs. Last year though they didn't start laying till the end of April. The oaks around here are just starting to leaf now. Hope your bluetit pair decide to nest for you.

I was beginning to think it was a bit slow this year but usually things have started by now. Fingers crossed I'm still hoping to use my new cameras

Seems to be a few without a nest this year Joe, It is getting on abit now though, Most our birds are on to egg laying stage now. Karen and Matt was in same boat with plenty of visits, However they have seen their females building elsewhere over the last few weeks. Fingers crossed for you, If its going to happen I imagine it will be this week coming for a late nest.
