Mr Pheasant with his wife , he sometimes has two 👍 They come every afternoon about 3.0pm for afternoon tea. Taken from window as he’s very jumpy and panics if I open the door.

Lovely photo Chris so they will have been today as well I suppose. Why does he sometimes have two wives though, just like the BT's - seems that the male sparrows are more faithful!

Yes Elle, beautiful scenery but we are also open to all the SW winds.nothing to stop it. Over the far hills is the coast. It’s a compromise between keeping the view and protection from the wind.. I think we have two different Pheasants.one with one wife and one with two. The females are far more bold, the males are the ones to fly of shrieking if disturbed. 😂

Thanks Kevin. The garden we did from scratch 20 odd years ago. It’s getting too much to keep trim really and has become very overgrown and a bit wild. Lots of cover for birds though. We’ve had to put up a new fence recently as our new neighbours grubbed up a mature conifer hedge and left us open to all the strong westerly winds. They didn’t endear themselves to us I’m afraid.😂 The silver birch is where the camera box is. It’s very near the path that goes down to the greenhouse. Doesn’t seem to worry the tits though. I’ll put a few more pics on in a minute.

You can see how overgrown everything is Kevin. It is nice for the birds though. I must be stupid. 😩 I tied to put all those pictures on together but when I selected four I didn’t get the direct link up .Ive had to do them all singularly. 😳 Must be doing something wrong.

Chris - I love your garden, it's fabulous & for all these beautiful photos. Pity they weren't in the Garden section, then they wouldn't "get lost" in next year's Bird Box section when this year's slips.

Beautiful scenery. In London a couple of Pheasants (different areas) appeared and friend put on FB. I'm back from shopping and will sit in garden for a while. looks like rain.
