Brilliant video, what a lovely moment to capture. Nest looks so soft and cosy it’s a wonder you can see Lucy let alone any eggs Sue

Awwww, how lovely, a fast worker! Lovely clear pictures too, I think you have the same camera as me. Is it an green feathers IP cam? If so, they will power an LED light

First glimpse of all the eggs uncovered today and there’s 7. She started incubation late afternoon so maybe 8 tomorrow. I’m very happy with 8:swinging-emoticon:

Glad she's let you see her eggs Helen, 8 is a good number if she lays another tomorrow, Which it sounds like she will. Glad you sorted an LED for yourself, They really do make the difference to the camera don't they?

Thanks for all your good wishes and sentiment. Its very frustrating having so little time to join in all the posts, I do get to read most of them......Work and family commitments take up my life. Lucy has 8 eggs as predicted, she has another week at least till they start hatching and has made a lovely comfy nest for herself and seldom leaves. Spends her time turning and shuffling the eggs Mark is always around. Hopefully Ill be able to get live mealworms, we don’t have suppliers in Ireland like you guys have across the water. I used to order them from a supplier in England and I would have them in a day or two. Now none of the other Suppliers in England will send here or if they do they charge £20 postage . I can get a small amount here but its hit and miss. Today she put her best hat on for his visit

such a shame about the mealworm situation, maybe you could set up a mealworm business in Ireland!! Elle xx Elle Ive been a vegetarian all my life so definitely not for me... I actually did ask himself (just for us though) he looked into it as he loves insects etc, but a lot of work involved and as as he has a full time job, not really an option.

The reason Im vegetarian Elle is because of food intolerances as a baby and then never ate meat after but I actually cook meat for the family, I have an extraordinarily strong sense of smell, so I use that and have never had any complaints, or else I have a family of liars EDH maybe next Monday/Tuesday......hopefully weather will be better, cold and heavy rain here in Dublin today
